Privacy

This privacy policy applies to the personal data collected and processed by El Media EOOD. The company is hereinafter referred to as the Publisher or the Administrator. It covers data obtained from visitors to the websites managed by the company. It also applies to subscribers to its electronic and print publications. The policy includes customers, suppliers, and partners of the Publisher, hereinafter referred to as Counterparties. The collection and processing of this data are carried out solely for the purpose of performing the Publisher’s legitimate business activities.

It is the right and obligation of the Counterparties to familiarize themselves in detail with this document.
If they disagree or are uncertain about the meaning of the information, they should not provide their data to the Publisher. By completing and submitting data forms, the Publisher assumes that the Counterparties have read its privacy policy. They are considered to have given their consent for the administration of their data. El Media EOOD is a personal data administrator with EIK 121845646. Summary:

General

The publishing house collects and administers personal data in connection with the printed magazines and websites it publishes.

Personal data collected by the Publisher should be understood as information related to the direct or indirect identification of individuals. It includes names, identification number (EGN), data from an identity card or passport, address information, characteristics related to professional engagement and interests.

The publisher does not collect personal data that is not related to its activities, such as age and physical parameters, characteristics related to the racial, economic, cultural, health, and other identities of the Counterparties. The publisher also does not collect information about the location, IP addresses, and preferences of visitors to its websites.

When processing personal data, the Publisher complies with the laws and regulations applicable in Bulgaria. It respects protection of personal data, regarding Regulation (EU) 2016/679. The Publisher does not process the personal data of minors under the age of 18.

Data collection

The Publisher collects personal data for the purpose of carrying out its activities in the following cases.

  • Distribution of information via e-mails to its subscribers.
  • Distribution of printed publications to its subscribers.
  • Concluding contracts with its Counterparties.

For the purpose of distributing information via email, the Publisher collects no more than the following personal information: names, gender, place of work, position, professional interests, email address, and contact telephone number.

For the distribution of printed publications, the Publishing House collects no more than the following personal information: names, gender, postal address, place of work, position, professional interests, e-mail, and contact telephone number.

In order to conclude contracts with its Counterparties, the Publisher collects personal information identifying the persons concluding the contract, as well as other personal information directly related to the performance of the contract.

The publisher always collects personal data directly from the Counterparties, providing them with information about the specific purpose for which it will be used in each particular case.

Use of personal data

The publisher uses personal data in the process of:

  • analyses, with the aim of improving the publishing house’s activities.
  • offering, concluding, and executing commercial transactions;
  • distribution of information via email;
  • distribution of printed materials by post;
  • communication in connection with subscription management;
  • sending invitations to participate in initiatives;
  • maintaining and updating the internal archive;
Cookie Policy

The Publishing House’s websites do not use cookies to store information locally in the browsers of Counterparties or any other visitors to the websites.

The pages of the Publisher’s websites may contain embedded content from websites, which store cookies in the visitor’s browser, as well as advertising banners of customers and partners associated with websites that store cookies. These cookies are beyond the control of the Publisher, and it recommends that visitors familiarize themselves with the privacy policy of the other party concerned.

Portability and disclosure to third parties

The publisher does not sell or exchange the personal data it collects for commercial purposes.

In the course of its activities, the Publishing House may share personal information with third parties in the following cases:

  • local and state authorities to which the Publisher is required to provide personal data by law or regulatory acts;
  • with business partners, such as printers, accountants, IT support, lawyers, and others, who follow their own policies for maintaining the confidentiality of personal data;
  • with postal and courier service providers for sending printed information;

The Publisher always shares with third parties only that part of the personal information it has collected that is necessary to perform the relevant activity.

Storage period

Personal data collected by the Publisher as a result of regulatory requirements or laws shall be stored for the period specified therein;

Personal data for which no retention period is specified shall be stored by the Publisher for the entire duration of the activity or service to which they relate.

Subscription data is stored by the Publisher until the subscriber expresses their desire to completely stop receiving information from the Publisher.

Rights

All Counterparties have the following rights with regard to personal data stored by the Publisher.

  • Тo object to the processing of their personal data;
  • to have access to and obtain information about their stored personal data.
  • Тo make changes and corrections to their personal data.
  • Тo be “forgotten” by having their personal data deleted.
  • Тo request restriction of the processing of their personal data for a certain period of time.
  • Тo object to the portability of their personal data.
Security and privacy

The Publisher collects, processes, and stores personal data in compliance with all legal requirements and standards;

The publisher has established an organization and the necessary technical infrastructure to protect the personal data it collects from malicious and unauthorized access;

The publisher requires its partners with whom it transfers personal data to have their own personal data protection policy.
